A Plain Defense For Plain Text Blog

Why Keep It Simple With Plain Text?

It amazes me that what you see online today on most all web sites is nothing more than one huge complicated mess! No matter where you turn, every single site is running scripts in the background, is monitized with too many ads above, throughout and below all of the content. A matter of fact, there are ads all over most web sites and you have to hop through them all just to read what you're there to read.

So what happened to simplicity? Well it flew out the window that's what happened to it and now it has been replaced by massive amounts of multi-media and advertising and of course monitization techniques and so on.

However, I don't even bother with that kind of stuff on my sites. My web site for Super Hit Mix Radio is as simple as it gets. There's no monitization, no background scripts collecting who knows what from you and the page loads really really fast! Want to see it? Here it is below.

Hopefully this might encourage you to create a plain text site just like that one. Do you see just how simplified it is and yet, you still get important information from it don't you? You still can read the text and find what you want right? Of course you can and you can do all of that without all that monitization and background scripts and such. This is why I also love using Bear Blog because here the information is provided without all the fancy eye candy, scripts and who knows what else is running in the background trying to scrape your data or worse.

At least here on my blog, you don't ' have to worry about any of that stuff because it is all so simple here, and that's the way that it should be, right?
