OK, grab a cup of coffee or whatever your favorite beverage is and something to snack on because I am going to share my story with you about how I got into writing and publishing. Now before I begin, I would like to say that my story really isn't anything Earth shattering, but it is my story nevertheless and I hope that you enjoy reading it. Just like anybody on this planet, we all have our own stories to tell and just because your story might not be Earth shattering, or elaborate doesn't mean that it isn't worth the reading. So don't even remotely think that your story isn't worth anything because it is! So are you ready to come into my mind and see what I am all about as a writer and publisher? Then let's go!

I started writing in earnest back in 2007 when I got involved with two Internet marketers by the names of Jeff and Loretta. These two Internet marketers were the only ones that had really given me a chance at trying to get into the world of electronic publishing. Everybody else that I had contacted up to that point either told me to purchase their expensive coaching program to learn the basics, or they just shoved me off like I was just a nobody, and perhaps I was a nobody to them.

Now I am not going to go into a whole lot of detail about Jeff and Loretta other than to say that due to the fact that I am legally blind, they had spotted an opportunity to start a program for blind and visually impaired people called BOSS which stood for Blind Online Success System. It was designed to educate those who are blind or who had a visual impairment the ropes of basic Internet marketing. They were instrumental in helping me to learn the basics and when I mean the basics, I actually and literally mean that such as how to add Pay Pal to your site to take orders.

Believe it or not, none of the other Internet marketers wouldn't even share that simple basic knowledge with me unless I paid them huge sums of money for their programs and courses. It just goes to show just how cold many Internet marketers can really be especially to people with disabilities or who simply do not have the funds to buy into what they're offering. However, Jeff and Loretta stepped up to the plate and were willing to help. The BOSS program did run for a few years until it fizzled. It was through Jeff and Loretta that I had written my first e-book. However, I can't remember what the name of that book was. Since the BOSS program had dissolved , I started out on my own but this time I was armed with the basic knowledge that I needed to know to begin my writing career. And yes, that does include being able to add a Pay Pal buy now button on a web page haha!

I continued to learn but most importantly, I didn't get into all of the affiliate marketing stuff. I mainly focused on writing because that's what I do best. Now I am no millionaire by any means but I have sold e-books. I got heavily into PLR products and began working with them, and that too helped me out a whole lot. A matter of fact, I still use PLR content to this very day.

Now as a writer and publisher, I write and publish everything in plain text format. Yeah, I know, plain text is boring, has no fancy fonts and it just looks well, blah. But you know what though? Plain text just works and it works really quite well.

As a writer I have come to really appreciate the written word and I honestly feel that everyone should write and publish in plain text format simply because of the fact that it is totally future proof and will definitely far outlast all those fancier file formats being touted around today. However, that's my personal opinion and I realize that not everyone will agree with me. Having your own products to sell that you have created on your own is really quite rewarding!

So why do I love writing so much? Well I can write much better than I can do public speaking. That's because when I write, I can keep up with my thoughts faster that way without having to think about what I am going to say to an audience full of people. It isn't that I get nervous about public speaking and such because quite honestly, I love sharing things with people in that way. It is just that for me when I write, I can write just as fast as I think, and for some reasons the words come out that much faster than they would if I were standing in front of a live audience. And for some reason, when I write, I can use the words that I really want to use, but when I speak out loud and to an audience, I can't quite match my skills that I have when it comes to writing in that way. I don't really know how that works. All that I know is that it does.

So instead of public speaking, I write instead. Now if someone were to offer me a gig at public speaking and I was going to get paid pretty good money for it, then yes, I would do it in a heartbeat! However, like I said, it isn't that I can't speak in front of a crowd. It is just that speaking for me isn't really what I do best. even though I love to run my mouth.

There are a lot of people just like me out there, so I am not the only one who thinks this way. I just found that for me; writing is a much better platform than public speaking is. I find it much easier to express my thoughts this way than in any other way. Is this you also? Do you find yourself in the same boat? Like I said earlier, when it comes to writing, I express my self differently than I do when I speak simply because I have to think about what I am going to say and that distracts me. However, ask me to write, and I open up in a whole different way.

It is interesting though how I can write along with my thoughts but want to know something really weird about that? I just like anybody else can speak faster than I can type so go figure. I can't quite put a finger on it why if I can speak faster than I can type, then why is it that when I speak, I can't carry out the same level of communication with my speaking than I can through my writing? I mean, when I write on the computer, my fingers are having to type out each letter of every single word and that takes some time to do, but when speaking, the words come out instantly and flawlessly. Perhaps the only thing that I can possibly come up with on this is that for some strange reason, writing even though it takes longer to do than speaking comes much easier, and like I said, I write along with my thoughts. If there is; I am not sure if there really is a science to this sort of thing but all I can say is oh well, it works for me.

I guess there are a lot of people just like me out there who feel pretty much the same way about writing verses actually speaking. Like I said, I can definitely run my mouth with the best of them if you know what I mean. Could it be that it has to do with the fact that when I speak out loud on something in particular that my voice simply can't really catch up to my thoughts? Hmmm, who knows. All that I know is that writing for me is the best form of communication and I can do it for hours and hours without getting tired of it. Maybe it is this way; my thoughts are instantly transferred to my fingers and my fingers do the typing and it is at that point that I don't have to really think because the words are already at my fingertips? Yeah I know, sounds kind of strange doesn't it? I guess my thoughts are at my fingertips and everything just comes out that way much better than it would if I had to actually speak it even though typing is slower than actually speaking is. I'm not really sure, but all I know is that writing actually works best for me. Or maybe it is this way, and that is; because I have time to think and I have time to type, what I type is much better than what I can speak out loud because my fingers are in sinc with my thoughts thus allowing for me to actually write what I really want to say. I guess there is a science between the fingers and the brain when it comes to writing. However, there are those who can't write but can do really really well at public speaking and all I can say to those folks is kudos!

Writing to me is a whole lot of fun. I enjoy conveying what I want to say through the power of text because text can last forever. Sure recorded words can do the same, but in order to convey what you want to say in actual words that are spoken, you have to speak pretty well to be able to do that. Maybe that's why our presidents have someone write their speeches for them perhaps? A well written speech can help the president to not stumble over his own words, plus a written speech acts as a sort of guide for the president, or anyone who does public speaking.

Some people when they write, they can actually go all out on what they feel, and what they really want to say. I guess the writing process helps them to do just that. Kind of like me huh? Like I said, I can write all day long and not get tired of doing it. I can really say a lot with my writing. So I guess you can say that I am good at running my mouth through the written word. What really makes it cool for me is when I write on a topic that I have a lot of interest in, I can really go all out and tell you all about it with no problems whatsoever. I can go into great detail about the topic, and by the time that I am finished, you will know as much about that topic as I do. Now that's really cool isn't it?

However, like I said earlier, Kudos to those who can do it through actually speaking because I am not one of those kinds of people. Yes I am pretty sure that I could deliver a good presentation about something verbally, but if I can write about it, then I can really go to town! I guess the only way I can describe it is this way. I get a sort of high when I write, and it makes me want to write even more. It is as if I was injected with a boatload of caffeine, or sugar, and suddenly, I have a lot of energy to spend on the writing process and it all just flows out of me like a raging flood! It is like I have been set free somehow and my mind can freely think and at the same time, my fingers just do the walking if you know what I mean.

I don't mind doing research and such, but if I can just freely write and write what is inside my mind without any interruptions, or distractions, then that's when you will see me go to town on the writing. My fingers can actually keep up with my train of thought and I guess that's why I can write better than I can actually speak the words out. Maybe the problem with actually speaking is the fact that I have to keep thinking while I am talking and if I have to do that through an entire presentation, it can get really messy perhaps. Now can you imagine me saying all of this into a digital voice recorder flawlessly and without fumbling over my words and adding the ums and pauses and such just so that I can try and keep up with my train of thought? Oh sure, I could read the text that I have just written with no problems, but to say all of it in actual words from the top of my head, and without reading it, is pretty much next to impossible for me to do and have it sound as fluid and as clean as it is when it is written out. If I had to come up with all these words inside my head and then speak them out without first writing them down, I don't think that none of this would sound very good when you listen to it. So yes, for me, writing is where it is at. I can communicate much better that way than simply having to memorize and speak all of this out in my voice and without stumbling over my words and adding in all those ums and pauses. So if I had to read this out loud, then yes, I would then do pretty well at it because it is right there in front of me in plain text. However, having to come up with all this just on thought alone and my voice, it would be a whole different ball game now wouldn't it? I'll let you chew on that one for a while.

I guess I was born to be a writer. It seams to be my favorite way of communicating with the world. And as you already know, there's a lot of power in the written word. It conveys a message over time, and everyone can have access to it. Before recordings were introduced, the only true form of recorded communication was written communication. If you think about it, when you write, you're recording. Although, I wouldn't really call a book a recording, but in a sense you can because why? It is because the book just like any recording does, contains information, and that information is stored on the pages of the book rather than magnetic tape, or in today's standards; digital recordings. Of course the really cool thing about written recordings is that they only need another human mind to understand them. That is why files even those paper ones are called records.

OK, I am going to get a little crazy here, but here goes. When it comes to digital files like the written ones such as plain text files and Word files, they're both a form of recording. However, the raw plain text file I would consider the MP3 of written communication. So why is that you ask? Well think about it for a moment. Microsoft word files are huge and take up a lot of space so they're like the WAV form of text whereas plain text files are much smaller in size for the same amount of words typed. That means that you can actually cram a whole lot more text onto a flash drive, or SD card than you ever could with Word documents. So plain raw text is the MP3 of written communication. At least that's the way that I look at it. And, that's the reason why I write and publish in plain raw text format simply because this form of written recording is far superior than any other form of written recording. Not only that, but writing in this way is for me, far better because I don't have to worry about bothering with the software that I am using to do the recording with such as fiddling with font and paragraph styles and crazy stuff like that. I can just begin typing at any point and write down what I need to write down that is in a format that anybody can read on any device. I mean why spend your time worrying about font and paragraph styles and all that other eye candy when all that is really needed is to just simply type and convey what's on your mind? Believe me, you'll write a whole lot faster without all those external distractions in your way.

And, if you want proof of that, then you need to get my book called A Plain Defense For Plain Text. It really goes into detail why many individuals have decided to use plain text instead of Word and other busy programs like that to write down their thoughts and ideas. OK, I realize that I got a bit off topic here, but you do get the point don't you? Now if you're one of those who gets too distracted every time you turn around and start writing, I have a suggestion. Use a plain text editor that has a distraction-free writing environment such as one called dark room for Windows. It will really let you write without all of the screen clutter like you see in programs like Microsoft Word and such. There's nothing to stand in your way of writing and if that's what you need, then go for it!

Writing for me just comes natural. I just enjoy doing it and it really gives me a chance to express myself easier than I could ever do with public speaking. However, like I said, it isn't that I can't do public speaking. It is just that for me when it comes down to expressing thought, I do it much better with text. As an author and publisher, I guess you would automatically think that writing would come natural to me. However, some people actually hate it with a passion! And you know what? There are a lot of people who think that way. Writing to them would be too much of a chore whereas with me, it is pure fun and enjoyment. I think that a love for writing would have to stem from the fact that an individual sees that he or she expresses themselves much better through writing than they would at speaking. That's me. I can write till the cows come home and still not be tired of doing it.

You know what though? I would be more than willing to bet that most of the books that you find inside of any book store weren't even actually written by the authors themselves, but by either ghost writers, or by someone to whom they had outsourced the work to. Heck, they might have even use someone from Up work, or even Freelancer, or even Fiverr to do the writing for them and now their book is selling in the book store and making them a good chunk of change. And sense as a rule they don't name their ghost writer in the book, you would just assume that the book was actually written by the author themselves. Oh, and let's not forget about AI! Yep, AI can write books too, so who knows maybe most all of the books of the future would be written by AI instead of human beings? That remains to be seen.

However, I don't think that human writers will disappear anytime soon even though we're being faced with AI like Chat GPT and other similar large language models. There's still plenty of room for a writer these days simply because a human writer can express thoughts in a way that AI can't right now. Yeah, AI is good; really good but I don't really think that it is going to totally replace the human writer just yet. However, even if it does, human writers will still be around and needed.

You see, one thing that you can say about writing is that it is a method of recording information that can be read in any situation either with or without a device. So people have been recording data for many thousands of years even if those recordings were on stone tablets and such. The fact remains; people recorded valuable information on whatever media that they had access to at the time, and for those of us today, we have access to many different forms of media to where we can record data.

If I haven't yet shared this tidbit of info with you, then hold onto your hats because I am about to go a bit technical here. The average MP3 song is at least 4MB in size, and that 4MB only plays for about 2 to 3 minutes at max. Got that? Good because here is where it is about to get really interesting. That very same 4MB of data can contain the entire text of the Bible! And that's the Bible in raw plain text format, not written in Microsoft Word. Got that? OK, now here's where it gets really interesting. If you had a way to listen to the text using a text to speech program, or you're able to listen to the text from a portable device such as an e-reader, that same 4MB plain text file would play not for 2 or 3 minutes, but for many many hours! Yep, and all of that wrapped up into a tiny 4MB file which as a song would only play for about 2 to 3 minutes max if it were an MP3 audio file. Pretty amazing huh? This is why I love plain text simply because as a writer, I can cram so much data into such a small space and be able to convey everything that I want to say. For most e-books, they wouldn't be 4MB in size, or nowhere near that large.

So do you see now why I love plain text so much and why it should be the basic standard for e-books and such. And as a form of written communication, you can really cram a lot in such a small place. A matter of fact, you could attach a plain text file to an e-mail, and inside that same file, you could have written an entire book and still only used very little space to convey that information. Pretty wild huh? You know, as an author and publisher of great information, I have always believed in using the simplest means of written communication because simple is really best. I mean why fancy it all up? To me it just doesn't make sense.

With simple writing methods, I can concentrate on what I am writing rather than concentrating on the styles, fonts, buttons, tools and menus of a program. I would much rather pay close attention to my writing itself than on the tool that I am doing the writing with. Does that make sense? That is why I use the Windows notepad, or any other plain text editor for my writing. I don't need a behemoth like Microsoft Word to simply convey my thoughts with. Notepad works fine. Not only that, but I want what I write to last for many generations to come and using the simplest form of written communication such as plain raw text is just what I need to do just that. Take this book for example. I want people hundreds or even thousands of years to be able to read it without them having to bother with fancy file formats and such. I want them to be able to access this text in the simplest way possible. And if you really think about it, paper books kind of are the same way. They need no special piece of software to view them and they can last for generations to come and people will still be able to read them far into the future just as they did when they were first released. Plain text is the equivalent to printed books simply because it is totally future proof.

Yeah I know I got off on a tangent here but I think that you get the idea. Authors and publishers should convey their messages in the way that best suits them and that's what I do. You see, if I use the simplest means possible for me to write, then I can write much faster and better since I don't have to bother with the technology to do the writing. I can just place my fingers on the keyboard and begin writing. That's it! No fuss no muss! Perhaps that's why I love writing electronically. It is really that simple to do and it doesn't take a rocket scientist in order to do it. The only skill that you need here is to know how to type. I can definitely type much faster than I could ever handwrite.

But you know what? When I first learned to type, or should I say before I actually learned to type, I told my typing teacher that it would be impossible to type without looking at the keys. Boy was I proven wrong! Now this was back in the day when we still used electric typewriters because computers really hadn't made into the mainstream community as of yet so a lot of people still used typewriters. So you can accurately say that I owe my writing skills to those old electric typewriters because I use them to learn how to type on a keyboard. And just to let you know, even if I could look at the keys, I can't see the letters on them haha! I am not one of those who hunts and pecks, and believe it or not, there are a lot of people like that today. It is those who do that that have never learned how to type. Typing is one of those skills that once your taught it, you don't forget it. Kind of like learning how to ride a bike.

I noticed that as I am writing, I can actually hear the words in my mind. I don't know if you do that, but it is something that I believe helps me to write more efficiently. And, I type as fast as the words come. There again, it is as if the words are transferred directly to my fingers and I just write them out straight from my mind. Now of course, I do research and stuff like that, but if I write freely without any distractions, I can really put out the wordage if you know what I mean. No, I am not the fastest writer around, but I can write pretty quickly nevertheless but probably no faster than the average individual.

It isn't the speed that matters here, but rather, it is the thoughts that come from my mind and into my fingers to write them all down. As I am writing, I can hear myself saying the words as if I am actually speaking them. However, I am sure that you're probably asking; if you can hear the words, then why can't you speak them out loud? Wouldn't hearing them in your mind help you to say them out loud? Well you would think so, but that's not how I work. By hearing the words in my mind actually helps me to write them down. Its not like I hear the words in my ears. It is hard to explain. All that I know is that I can hear them inside my head, and as I hear them, I write them on the computer. It is as if the words inside my head are coming from a Dictaphone machine and all I am doing is writing what I hear from the tape so to speak. However, I honestly believe what fuels this is simply my love for writing itself. Since I love to write and convey what I want to say through writing, then it makes perfect sense that I would be able to write what I am thinking without any real problems whatsoever.

So how do you do your writing? Do you work the same way that I do? Do you enjoy writing as much as I do? What fuels your passion to write? Is it the topics that you're interested in that help to fuel your interest to write? Is writing for you therapeutic? there may be many reasons why you may love to write. They could be similar to my interests, or they could be something totally different. However, what I want you to realize is that if you really love to write and if writing is your best way of conveying your thoughts to people, then by all means continue doing it and never ever stop because this definitely could be a huge open door for you as a writer and publisher. It's not so much the skill of writing itself that is important as it is your passion for writing that is important here. If you have a strong passion to write, then that may mean that you have all that you need to become an author and publisher.

I honestly believe that authors and publishers are born from their overwhelming urge to write. I write every single day, and like I said earlier, I absolutely love to write. It is my favorite way of communicating with people. Also like I said earlier, I can run my mouth with the best of them so it isn't that I can't speak. It is just that for me writing is my strong suit and it is what I really do best. But I am sure that you have this burning question in your mind concerning me using AI am I right?

Well to be totally honest here; yes I do use AI in my writing. AI is an excellent resource for writers, and I honestly believe that every single author and publisher should use it, but remember, use it in conjunction with your own words and your own style because that will help you a whole lot in the end. AI content is much like PLR content in that you can use it, modify it and call it your own but if you don't add your own voice into it, then it is just AI generated content.

As a writer and publisher, I believe in adding your own voice and style to even the best AI generated content out there. Now I have created entire e-books with AI and didn't really add anything to them and that's OK to do once in a while. There's nothing wrong with that. Just make sure that the content that you create with AI is accurate and reliable. However, what you really want to do is to simply use the AI as a springboard to helping you to get rid of writer's block and to also help you in generating the content so that you can build around it and add your own voice to it so to make it totally unique.

Real writers and publishers really aren't going anywhere soon and they're still needed even though AI has come onto the scene. The reasoning behind this has to do with the fact that real human beings still love original content and they love to read what real human beings have written. Humans unlike today's AI technology can actually write from true experiences out in the world whereas AI only generates the content from what it has read and learned from it. Today's AI can't experience the world like we humans can experience it so real authors and publishers are still needed because of that fact.

So when I write, I am actually writing from real world experience. That is why my writing is so valuable, and that's why anybody's writing is really valuable. Human beings write from experience, not just from what they have learned. Experience is the key here and that is also the key to an excellent author and publisher too. That is why people love reading material written by actual human beings because they're experiencing what that individual had experienced themselves through their writing about it.

Now this might inspire you to really think about writing and publishing because if you can share your experiences with people through the written word, then you have a chance at sharing your experiences in a way that is easy to grasp and already familiar with most people. That is why people love to read. They're searching for people's experiences even if those experiences are not real but found inside a novel. Reading has captured the minds of so many individuals and through reading their minds can imagine the places, the smells and other things relating to that particular experience.

As a writer and publisher, if you can really convey the information in such a way that causes the individual to begin using their imagination, then you're a really good writer. you're able to turn people's minds into their own movie theatre where they can watch the events unfold right before their eyes as their reading the text from the book. That's why people are so captivated with books in the first place and you as an author can help them to capture the experience by writing text that fully describes the scenes and so on. You're able to add emotions, feelings and other elements that can cause the one reading your book to actually feel what is going on.

When I write, I explain things in as much detail as humanly possible. I try not to leave anything out if I can avoid doing that because I want my readers to get a full grasp of what I am trying to say. This is perhaps one of the reasons that when I write, I can describe things much better than I can actually speak about them. However, like I said earlier, it isn't that I can't speak about things but it is just that when I do speak, it is much different than when I actually write about that very topic at hand. When I write on a particular thing, I am usually pretty thorough about it more than I would be if I were to talk about it. I guess that's because I have time to think as I am writing and I can make doubly sure that I have added everything that I needed to say whereas when I am speaking I don't think that I could do that very well that way. And, as you can see from this writing, I have already given you a lot of things to think about and chew on for thought. That's just how I do. I try not to leave anything out simply because I want you to grasp everything that I want yu to know. Now if I were to speak all this out, it probably wouldn't be as thorough as it is in writing. For me writing is more than just a form of personal entertainment. It is my way of communicating with the world.

There are a lot of people just like me out there who think and act the same way about their writing. I can write on a lot of topics and I enjoy doing it. I get excited when people read what I write and if they comment about it I am just as excited. I love to hear what people think of my work. However, my work may not be for everybody and that's OK. I just want to make sure that they get out of it what I want them to get out of it. After all, it is my contribution to the world and everyone in it. Writing for me is a real pleasure and not a chore. However, I know that for many of you it may seam like a chore because maybe you don't like to write. We've all received something from things that we have read from authors who have told their stories to information material such as science books, journals and so on. As was stated, writing was the first form of recording information that we had up until now. For many years, our writing has made history, changed lives and has educated people on so many different things.

It is known as collective learning. Collective learning is done through information being shared with large groups of people. An entire society of people can learn particular skills and knowledge about anything simply because information is passed quickly to the masses. Back before horses were trained to be used as tools for transportation and such, information was passed along by foot, which was much slower. As humans progressed, so did is means of transport until we reach today where information is now spread at the speed of light. So by placing your information into a format that can withstand the true text of time such as plain text will insure that the information that you write today will still be passed onto future generations.

As an author and publisher, this is very important to me because I want what I write to far outlast me and I want future generations to be able to read the information that I am sharing. This is just another reason why I love to write. It thrills me to know that what I write may impact someone's life some day. That's why I love to write because I know that through my writing I can share lots of things with people that I may never meet or know, and that could mean anybody today, or anyone in the future well after I am gone. So by me writing everything down in plain text format just increases the chances of what I write to be accessible to everyone in the future. That is why I am so crazy about the plain text format. It's simple, it is easy to read, and it is totally time proof.

Writing and sharing things with people is perhaps one of the best ways to fill a person's brain with all sorts of wonderful stuff. For example, when you read a really good book such as a novel, don't you get all into it and don't you feel the same things that the characters in the novel feel? Can't you see the images, hear the sounds and smell the smells that are mentioned also? Well that's what a really good novel should do when you read it. However, to tell you the truth; no matter what the book is that you're reading, if it is written really really well, then you should definitely get something out of it and your brain should react to it in one way or another. For example, if the book is some sort of instructional book, and if it was written in a more conversational mannor then more than likely you will be able to fully u nderstand what is being said.

However, some books are very technical and are written for those who are able to understand all of the jargan and terminology that is mentioned inside that book. However, the simple fact is; is that information is being passed along from one person to another. The written word and how we interpret it are all a part of our super intelligence. Did I really say super intelligence? Yes I did and it wasn't a mistake either. Humans are indeed super intelligent creatures. We can do things that no other animal on this planet can do simply because we have language and not only do we have language, we have the means to record that language to pass along to others, and we're the only creatures on this planet that are able to record things. And all of this recording capability all came from being able to write things down and pass the written word around even back in the days of stone tablets. Ok, this might sound a bit crazy here, but here goes. If you really think about it, the computer was invented when people were able to write and record information. Here's what I mean. When people wrote on stone tablets, what they were doing was storing data on a piece of media which was the stone tablets, or even the papyrus that they used to record their information onto. So those things were information storage devices, and the computers that interpreted them were our own brains. Even today, we still record data, but it is stored electronically either on SD cards, CDs, or even on the computer itself. Every time you write a post on a blog, or on Facebook, twitter or any other social media site, you're recording data in written form and because the data is digital means that it will last for a very long time. Our computers, tablets and even our smart phones all act as extensions to our brains allowing us to store data that we need very soon, or at a later time, and it won't be long that we will be able to store all that data inside our brains thanks to technology. The written word is vitally important here because we live in the information age where everything travels at the speed of light. Instant communication has been the dream of mankind and now we have reached the point in our history where we have accomplished that and it can all be done at the single press of a button or even a voice command.

This has definitely impacted me as a author and publisher because at any time day or night, I can write something save it and then transmit it to anywhere I want to send it instantly! The technology that we have today was drempt about in books from years ago, and even in documentaries and movies. From instantanious communication to rapid transit, we have come a very long way. However, want to know what brought us this far? Well I'll be more than happy to share that with you.

As a Christian, I honestly believe that all of what we know and create all comes from God himself. After all, he gave us our brains and the ability to do the things that we do. We were made in his image and as such, we have some of his atributes including the ability to communicate, reason and make things. So our ability to write and record information is truly an astounding gift from God, and we should all use it wisely to benefit one another as best we can. The ability to record and retrieve data is a feat that only us humans can do in the way that we do it. None of the animals have this capability, but God has given us that ability.

Information is so ubiquitous today that you can't go anywhere without encountering it on one level or another. It is litterally everywhere. Because of our technology, information is so readily available that you don't have to search hard to find it. It is on our smart phones and tablet devices, in book stores, libraries and anywhere else that you can possibly think of today. Information can be found just about anywhere you go these days, and as technology greatly improves, there will be even more of it.

I absolutely love the simplicity of just being able to hop onto my computer and begin typing the information straight out of my head. To me; that's fascinating simply because you're transferring thoughts into digital text that everyone can read. and that's truly amazing in itself. I don't know if you have ever thought of it that way, but that's the way that I see it. Clearly taking what's inside your head and transferring it to a computer screen and then saving what is on the computer screen to a digital file is really a cool process if you ask me. And that same process is being done whether it is done on stone or papyrus. The whole concept of being able to transfer thught into something physical is a feat that only we humans are able to do. This is actually why communication whether it is written or recorded in audio and video is so valuable today. It is valuable simply because it came from another human's mind and is now available to the masses to consume even when the individual isn't even there to physically share it. That is perhaps why books are so popular and any other form of information available today is so valued. The mere fact that we can share information with others withut you even being there to share it is totally astounding! I mean think about it for a moment. We humans have an ability that no other creature on this planet has, and that is the ability to record information and save it for later use. When writing first came around, it was the most advancet technology of it's time. Now people can write down stories and other information and pass it to many generations without much of it getting lost.

Back when we told each other stories before writing; much of the time the story would change simply because we had no way of taking down the story that would put it into a format that was more permanent and stable. That was until writing first came around. Writing had really revolutionized the way that we get information and retain it. And now, writing is everywhere, and information is so easy to find these days thanks to our technology.

So when I write on my computer, I realize that what I am doing is I am communicating with litterally hundreds and thousands of people all at once today and in the future. That's why saving what you write in plain text format is so important. It helps to preserve your words for the future. And do you realize that without the ability of human beings being able to write and share information in this way that our world wuld have been totally different if we had never ever learned to write? Do you realize what that means? Well it means no electricity, no computers, no cars, no advanced medical technology, no schools, no shipping and trade like we have now, no going to the moon, no satalites, no GPS, no Internet, no radio or television, no telephones and on and on. Boy that would be terrible now wouldn't it? Well I can assure you that if we had never ever learned to write and store information, I wouldn't be writing this today that's for sure! All of our current technologies and advances can be attributed to the writing down and sharing of information.

So yes, as an author and publisher of information I can greatly appreciate the skill of writing that I have because this is the very skill that lets me share what I know with the world. It is the way that a lot of people share their information. It connects me to everybody else, and it lets me be in more than one place at a time in a sense. Yeah, I am speaking to you through this text, but this text is my thoughts and ideas that I am sharing. That is totally amazing isn't it? Writing is a gateway to knowledge and it is also the gatway to the mind of others as well. Through our writing, we can let people know what we think. And, if you think about it for a moment; isn't that the whole reason why people write letters? Aren't they conveying their thoughts in a written form? Everything from love letters to letters that are absolutely nasty and terible are the thoughts of someone. For some people writing is the best way that they express themselves, and that's what I do best.

So it is through my writing that I get to share with the world what I am thinking and reasoning about. And if you really think about it for a moment, writing is basically your way of having the floor and being able to speak your mind without any interruptions. Whereas with public speaking you can get a lot of negative responses from a live audience that can distract you from your train of thought and even derail the whole thing. However , through writing, you can freely express everything that you're wanting to say without interruption from negative individuals. This is another reason why I love to write simply because I know that I can say what I wanted to say without someone in a live audience booing me to death and causing some sort of ruckus and interrupting my train of thought. At least through writing, I can freely express what I want to say and get it out there for people to read without any interruptions whatsoever. Now that's the beauty of writing!

One thing that can really get my mind going is when I either use AI or PLR content to write with. You see with both of these technologies, they can inspire me to give my own thoughts on the matter in my own voice, and for me, this is a huge boost. They actually help me to not have writer's block simply because the content is already there for me to edit and modify. And, if you know anything about PLR content, it can be used as a springboard for writers who have trouble with their writing and need a real boost. I can definitely attest to that fact because I also use PLR content with my writing. Maybe not all of the time but sometimes I use it when I need to use it. The same thing can be said about AI as well.

Let me ask you a quick question ok? Do you really think that Shakespeare thought that his writings would last as long as they did well into the 21st century? Probably not because back when he penned is works, there were no computers to speak of, and I am quite sure that he thought that people would be reading paper based books forever and ever! I honestly don't think that he really gave it any thought as to how information was going to be disciminated in the future. However, here we are in the 21st century still reading shakespeare! Do you realize just how amazing that really is? Think about it for a moment. Shakespeare wrote those books and such many many years ago and they still exist today simply because of the fine art of writing and recording information. If it weren't for the ability for humans to be able to write and record information, the books of shakespeare wouldn't exist today. So seriously think about that when you write something. Think about how it is going to impact people in the future as well as in the present. Even the writings of Hemingway will be read many many years from now.

I will always have a strong passion for writing. After all, it is what I do best. And if I can communite well through my writing then I have definitely done my part for society. You see, we all have a part in society to play and my part is to be a writer and a really good one. I want to provide engaging content that people will talk about for years to come and I want to provide content that people can learn from and benefit from as well. If I can't provide great content that feeds the mind and excites the soul, then I am not a good writer now am I? A good writer doesn't have to be a parfect writer. They just need the passion to write and the excitement to do the writing. They need to have a solid drive for it. If writing is just another chore for you, then writing really isn't your thing after all, and you may have to find your method of communication that best suits you. It could be public speaking, podcasting, vlogging or whatever. However, for me; writing is where it's at!

A really good author must let you into his or her mind, and they must be able to paint the scenery of their story into your mind in such a way that as you're reading that story, you get transported into the story inside your own mind. For example, if the writer wrote a compelling novel, then that novel should be written in such a way that it transports the reader into the world of the characters who are in that novel. You need to be able to see their faces, hear their voices, smell the smells and so on. Perhaps that's why so many people love to read novels. They're transported into the story unlike the experience you get from watching a movie about it. When you watch a movie, all of the scenes and other stuff is pre-programmed for you whereas when you read the novel, you get to open up your imagination and let it develop everything right there in your mind's eye. A good writer should be able to do that if they write novels and such.

However, I couldn't write a novel if my very life depended upon it. My writing has to do with sharing information such as facts and other stuff that isn't related to writing novels and such. However, that doesn't mean that the type of writing that I do is any more less interesting than a good novel is because when I write on different topics, I go all out to explain in full detail about everything. I try to make my writing just as engaging as a well-written novel, even though I am not writing a novel. You get the idea huh? Ie is exciting to see that when people read what you have written and they have benefitted from it; you know in your heart that you had accomplished something. Of course, the question is; is what you write going to bring a posative outlook on one's life or a negative outcome? That's what you have to really think about when you do your writing because once it is out there for the masses to consume, then it's out there, and there's no way to take it back especially with today's rapid response technology where everything is delivered at the speed of light. That is why when you write, you must be precise, honest and transparent especially if you're writing on topics that are factual, or require truth to be told about them. Of course when you write novels, you can be more relaxed because reality doesn't really mater quite as much unless of course it is some sort of historical novel taking place in a particular period of time and then accuracy is really important even though the story may not be true.

However, what really classifies you as a good writer is your willingness to accept criticism when it is given and to continue practicing your art of writing each and every day and to improve on your writing style and so on. You'll be totally amazed at what you can actually accomplish when you practice each day. That's what I do. I write each and every single day on something, and that keeps me going and it also helps me to improve upon my skills of written communication. Maybe I could just simply clone my voice and then let my cloned voice read this in a public speech, and then and only then could I do public speaking haha! Oh, the cloning voice thing; that's actually real! People can actually do that now with AI technology so that wasn't thrown in here as a funny statement. It's a fact. But you know what? Even that can be used to help people who have stage fright to speak. Wow! think of all the posibilities? Just think; no more of those ums and other similar pause type sounds that we make when speaking. Through our cloned voices, we could do public speaking like a pro! And yes, writing will still be a huge part of that because after all, you would have to write out the speech and then have your cloned voice read it back.

OK, so you're probably wondering where I am going next am I right? Well as far as writing goes, I will definitely continue writing and sharing valuable content. I will continue to learn and grow in my field, and I will always be excited about hearing that people are getting a lot out of what I write. I am really looking forward to sharing even more rich content in the future. Oh, and in case you wonder where I am blogging at. I am pleased to announce that my blog can be found at the following here below. I belive that you will find a lot of very interesting content on there and as you probably guessed it; yes, it is a plain text based blog. I encourage you to start a blog there yourself because it is a very easy platform to use, and it isn't full of all the craziness that Wordpress, or other blogging platforms have.

http://plaintext.bearblog.dev

You will be able to see some of my writing there because I do post there quite often. Now you won't see everything that I have written but I believe that you will definitely get a rough idea of how I write and so on. It is really a great place to start if you want to know more about me when it comes to writing. I have written a lot over the years. This is a form of communication that I thoroughly enjoy using because to me, it is actually relaxing and stimulating. I will never give it up. It is one of the talents that God has granted me with and I am going to use it to the best of my ability. I want to share valuable information with people, and the best way that I can do that is through my writing. No, I am not the world's best writer, and no, I am not a best selling author either. However, just like I had said at the beginning of this, everyone has a story to tell and their stories are worth the reading. Sure, you may not be a best selling author and having your face planted on magazines and such, but nevertheless, your story is just as valuable as anybody elses'. You don't have to be a best selling author to be recognized or appreciated. All you need to do is to simplywrite and tell your story no matter what it is. Whether you're sharing information on a particular topic, writing a novel, or whatever, just put it out there. don't be ashamed. That's what I do, and I don't mind sharing what I know.

By taking the time to write, I can say what I need to say much easier than I could if I had to do it as a speech, but I had already said that earlier. I guess it is because I love to type. I hate handwriting and i am not very good at it either. Typing for me is so much easier and it takes far less time to write something by typing it than it ever could with handwriting the same thing. It would take me forever to handwrite all this out, and I am not about to attempt that feat either. I'll just keep right on typing thank you.

You may be asking; Donald do you have any pointers for me to take away from all this that you wrote? The answer is an astounding; yes! What I want you to take away from this is that when you write something, it can last for a very very long time, and you will be able to reach people far into the future with your writing than you ever could at the current time. Writing is a vehicle in which you use to convey your message and it can definitely influence people world wide! And, if you save all your writing as plain ordinary text, then your work will definitely last far into the future where others can have access to it and learn from you and what yo have written.

That is why I believe in the power of writing because through writing, you're able to say a whole lot more with your thoughts and ideas. At least if they're all written down, people can have access to them and get true value out of them. What I want you to take from this; is that you don't need to be afraid of writing. Let it be the means by which you can not only relay messages, but relay important information, thoughts and ideas that you have inside your mind. Remember, your writing will last for many many years to come and through your writing you will be able to influence many people. That's what I plan to do with my writing and I have already done that. Everyone who has purchased and downloaded what I write has been influenced by what I wrote, and hopefully they will use the information to the best of their ability.

You can influence people whether it is through writing, or really through any other means such as audio and video as well. I just focus here on writing because that's what I do to influence people. It is through what I write that I am able to get the information out to people. I can express my thoughts, ideas, feelings and so much more through what I write and how I write it. And that's really important because through writing, I am able to go into great detail. I want you to really think about what I had said here in this book because I want you to see just how important the written word really is. It is the oldest form of recording that we have, and it has withstood the true test of time because we still do it today. People still write even though our form of writing is digital, the process is still basically the same though. We're recording information for others to read later on. It is through our writing that people in the future can get a glimpse of who we are now and how we have lived, plus it also passes down vital information that we can use in the future. We humans have a wonderful capability that no other creature on this planet has, and we need to take as much advantage of it as we possibly can because the future depends on our knowledge and expertise today.

You see, if you want people to get a glimpse into your mind, then writing down your thoughts, feelings and ideas is a really great way to do just that. Writing can definitely release a lot that you have in your mind and allow for you to put it into words that people are able to read and understand. That is why people still read today. Reading for a lot of people is their way to escaping from reality even if it is just for a little while and engaging in what you have to say. Even if what you write is based on reality and tells the truth, or relays some very important information; the fact is, is that what you write will stick around for a very very long time. People can then refer to it time and time again for a reference. Unlike audio or video recordings where the serching for specific content is more difficult, at least if the information is in a text format preferrably plain text, the plain text can be easily searched and you will be able to locate the desire information almost immediately! This is especially helpful for study and information gathering as well as research.

So do you now see how important the written word is and how what you write can help others to learn from you? Do you now understand that by writing your thoughts down as well as your ideas can help you to keep things structured and in a particular order? Do you now also see that through writing, you can clearly express what's in your mind and allow others to have a glimpse into your mind through what you have written? Writing is the perfect recording method in my opinion simply because it is a form of recording that can be put into many different formats. Without writing, more than half of what we learn wouldn't be available today, and without writing, we wouldn't have the technology or the devices that we have today to communicate with. So writing is paramount to our lives today, and it was paramount many years ago also. A matter of fact, it was through writing that everyone learned things from school. It was through books, and other literature that people back before our time had to learn from what they knew back then to survive. Schools back then didn't have computers, smart phones, tablets or even the telephone. All of the learning was done through books made of paper. Books are great information storage devices. They are how we learned in the past and even today although our books are digital, they are still pretty much how we learn. Now as I keep stating, and I am sure that you're tired of me saying it; please please save your work in plain text format! Even if you publish in Kindle, Nook, or any other fancy e-book file format, at least make sure that you back up your work in plain text format so that it will be future proof. Believe me you will be thanking me for this tip once you see just how important that step really is. You don't want to lose all that valuable writing that you have done just because a particular file format is no longer being used any more. That would be a real disaster! So if you want future generations to read your text, then by all means, save it all in plain text format. This is perhaps the wisest thing that I can tell you when it comes to how to handle your written material for future use. This is what I do and I don't plan to change either. I will keep using plain text for as long as I live.

Personally, I feel that communicating in raw plain text is really the best way because I don't have to deal with formatting a document, setting the fonts or any of that silly stuff. I just write, convey what I want to say and then send it on its way to the masses. Then the masses could just open it and read it without having to worry at whether or not they have the right viewing program for the file because plain text can be viewed inside any text editor or word processing program. Do you now understand why I write and publish this way? Do you see just how simple this really is? You don't need all that complicated micky mouse junk just to publish a good e-book. Plain text will do just fine. However, like I said earlier, if you want to publish in other file formats than that's fine but just make sure that you always save your work as a plain text document so that you won't lose anything that you have written.

I realize that some changes are necessary, but not all changes are necessary. In the case of e-book writing and publishing, I will always use plain text. That's how I work. I don't need anybody to tell me that I am wrong for using plain text for my books because there's nothing wrong with publishing in the plain text file format. Another thing, when I write in plain text and I am not having to deal with the program's buttons, menus, dialogs, fonts, paragraph styles, layouts and so on, I am able to express my opinions and my thoughts in a way not much different than I would have done if I were sitting in front of a typewriter doing the same thing. With a typewriter you didn't have to worry about fancy graphics on the page, buttons or other distractions that constantly got in your way of the writing process. It was just you, the paper and the typewriter. That's the way that it should be with any serious writer. Microsoft Word is just too busy, does too many things at one time, is constantly thinking that you need to do this or that, and while all that stuff is happening, you're being totally distracted from the whole writing process. At least when you write with a plain text editor, you have absolutely none of those terrible distractions, and you can actually get on with your writing.

I don't have time for all that garbage that word processors try to shove in your face. I just want to write, and I want to write undisturbed by all that junk. I honestly feel that if you're a serious writer and you want to convey something; the last thing that you want is a behemoth word processor trying to predict your every move constantly popping up little messages and bugging you with all sorts of pretty little buttons that do this and that. All of that is just unnecessary programming junk that makes the programmers richer by the day. All of that busyness just keeps them busy. After all, why fix it when it isn't even broken?

Now I am not against improvements by any means but programs like Microsoft Word are terrible programs for writers, at least for serious writers. And yes, I do consider myself a serious writer simply because I do it on a daily basis. I have had many many years of experience doing this. so I do know what I am talking about. You see if you use Microsoft Word to do your writing with, you have to constantly baby sit the program because you're constantly having to deal with it as you write with it especially with that aweful assistant that keeps popping up all of the time. And besides, who in their right mind would pay around $400 for a program that writes text? As a writer and publisher, if it is one thing that I have learned it is this; you need to use the simpler things for your writing if you wish to become a serious publisher and author. You don't need things that will distract you from your work. The less distractions that you have, the better it is for you to write. That is why I honestly belive in using plain text editors because at least with them, I am not distracted by those buttons, fonts, styles or anything else that may et in my way of conveying my message to the world. Plain text does it just as good as any other file format does and perhaps better since it can be used on every single device and computing platform out there.

Now another thing that I would like for you to take from this is this; and that is, if you are writing and you have been writing for a long time at one sitting, take breaks once in a while. Try to refresh your mind and then go back to your writing. It is good to get up and walk around a bit. Get something to eat or even take a short nap because there are going to be times when you need refreshing. We all need that. You will write more clearly if you're able to take breaks once in a while. If you find that you need frequent breaks then that's ok because that's how you operate and there is nothing wrong with that at all. Just take your break and then get back to your writing. You'll find that your mind is clearer and the fog is gone and you can concentrate on your thoughts and what you want to say clearly. Believe me, the clearer your writing is the better and more likely that your readers will be able to understand you and what you have to say.

You see, the way that I view people is this; I honestly believe that everyone has value and I believe that everyone has a story to tell and everyone's story is unique and worth sharing. Looking down your nose at other people thinking that you're better than they are is an evil practice. Every single human being on this planet is worth something whether they're bad or good. Now this doesn'tmean that I support the things that bad people do. No that isn't it at all. I just believe that everyone has potential to do what is right and to do good for the benefit of all mankind. We all have talents and skills that we can use for the good. However, some of us would much rather use those things for evil. One of the greatests gifts that we can give is the gift of knowledge, and we have been giving that gift for as long as we have been able to write and record information. The written word written down either on tablets of stone, papyrus, or even paper or in this case, on computer chips is still quite valuable today. That's because we're passing down what we know inside our heads to other generations. Because of writing, we have been able to enhance our civilization and gain improvements in technology and so on. It is through writing that we have received most of our understanding from each other, and it will be through writing that that kind of learning will continue although there are other methods of learning such as audio and video. The written word will always play a pivital role in how we learn both now and in the future. Sure our storage methods for our writing may change but writing itself will never change because as long as we're able to write and convey information, then that information can travel well into the future no matter the media source.

One other bit of advice that I can give you is to simply never stop learning. Don't give up on doing research and finding out new things because that will in turn help you with your writing if you do decide to become a writer and publisher. You will find yourself using the things that you have learned in your writing and if you just write to tell your story; then you at least owe it to yourself to write it down no matter how uninteresting you think that it is because someone who reads it will find it interesting even if you don't. If more and more of us would share what's inside our minds, I believe that we can really learn a lot more than we already do about each other. Just think of all the interesting books we would have to read? Even if you tell your own story, or share a hobby, or something else that you know about a particular topic then people could see your spin on thatidea and who knows, maybe they will use your ideas. Like I said, everybody has something to share and unfortunately, not everyone is willing to share that information. Even just sharing your knowledge on a particular topic is enough because everyone has their own spin on that topic and it would be interesting to see what your spin is.

Just imagine if everybody wrote their own book? Wow! the world would be filled with so much valuable information and insights. And, if you really think about it, the Internet doesn't have nowhere near the knowledge that all huma beings possess because not everyone writes a book, or writes that information on the web. However, imagine if everyone did write something. Think of all the new and innovative ideas that would be floating around, and also think of all the stories that we would read, and think about our true history if everybody wrote something. If I were to write a book on all of mankind, I would title it The Entire Written History Of Mankind, and it would feature at least one page of information from every single human on the planet! Wow that would be one huge e-book! haha!

You know one thing about writing is that you get to see what's inside people's minds. You get to learn about them and what they have experienced or are experiencing. The written word has played a pivital role in so many people's lives over the years and centuries. It has guided people to success, it has taken people on wild adventures into the future and into the past, and it has enlightened people spiritually, emotionally and psycologically. For some reason, the written word captivates people and it allows for people to use their imaginations in ways never thought of before. Unlike watching a story on a screen where everything is already planned out and the scenery is already there, the written word lets you create the visions in your own mind and your mind becomes the movie screen for a change. That is perhaps why people love to read books, and that's probably why a book is better than the movie simply because there is more in the book than what could be put into the movie.

So yes, here I am encouraging you to seriously think about writing because through your writing whether you're writing a best selling novel, or a book on something factual; everyone has something worth saying in my opinion. So why not go out there and write about it? Just like I am doing here, I am letting you into my mind and letting you know exactly what I think when it comes to writing. I am sharing my thoughts and ideas with you and I am letting you know everything that I know about writing and publishing because it is vitally important to me. Now of course, you may not feel the same way that I feel about writing and publishing but that's OK because you're entitled to your own thoughts about it. I just wanted to share with you my personal views on the matter so that you can see where I am coming from. I wanted you to get a taste of what I am all about when it comes to writing and publishing content because when it comes to writing and publishing, there's nothing better than a writer who can convey his or her message in such a way that captivates the reader and draws them into the content. Just like a really good novel where everything starts off with a great title and a great introduction, a really good writer and publisher is going to have the ability to share things in such a way that will engage the reader, make them use their imagination, or explain things in such a way that helps them to grasp the material that much easier.

For example, the entire for dummies series of books were designed to take an average individual through the steps of accomplishing a particular task such as learning how to use the computer, or how to use certain programs like Microsoft Word, or even how to write code like HTML and so on. The primice behind that series of books was to simplify things so that the average joe or jane could learn a new skill without getting all confused over it. The books were written in everyday language that most anyone could understand.

The same can be said about me, or you because if we can write in such a way to where our readers can fully grasp and understand what we're trying to say, then we have accomplished something. Our goal should be to captivate our readers, draw them into either the story or the learning material, and help them to learn, or to experience the story with their imaginations. In the case of novelists, their job is to turn your mind into a personal movie theatre where you can see everything play out as you read the novel. If a writer can pull this off then he or she is quite successful in getting the individual to totally use their imagination and careate the scenery in their mind as the author had intended.

Good authors and publishers can really take you for a wile ride either into the past or into the future with astounding clarity provided that the elements in their story are put in such a way that causes the reader to open up their imagination and allow themselves to be taken to those places. But what about those who write informational material such as fact based books, or books on topics that aren't stories and such. How can what they write open up your imagination? Well these kinds of things might not involk your imagination so much, but what they can do if they're written well is to cause you to think, but most importantly; understand the material that has been written. Being able to write in a clear and precise manner is how any author can truly grab the attention and the mind of their readers. For example, those dummies books that were mentioned earlier for example. They were designed to educate average individuals on how to perform certain tasks, learn particular skills and such in a way that is easy for them to grasp and understand. The language used in those books was at a level that most people could understand the topic at hand and grasp it without having to wade through complicated books on those very same topics.

And that brings me to language, no not language like French, spanish or Japanese, but the language that would be fitting for a particular level of intelligence. I have actually heard that you sould write in at least an 8th grade level for most people. Why an 8th grade level you ask? Well 8th grade level language is pretty understandable and easy to read and it isn't filled with too much complicated jargan or lingo that could really throw people off when trying to learn something. Take for exampe this ery book you're reading now. Was there any complicated jargan or lingo inside it? Could you fully grasp what you're reading? Of course you can simply because it was written in a way that is easy for everybody to understand and grasp. You don't need to write like a nuclear or rocket scientist in order to get your points across. All it takes is nothing more than simplified language that most people understand to get them to either get into the material, or to greatly appreciate the fact that someone had written the material in a way that allows for them to understand the topic in which they wish to learn about.

Always remember, if you want everybody to understand what you're saying then write in an easy to grasp language that they're familiar with and know well. You don't really need to overcomplicate things just to get your points across to your readers. If you do overcomplicate things, then more than likely, they may either stop reading your books, or they may not even recommend them to others simply because they're too complex. You do not want to go over people's heads with what you write because in doing that, they will be lost and they will not grasp what you're trying to convey. It is best not to overcomplicate your writing and instead, speak in a more understandable language that suits everyone. Not only this, but writing in a much easier to understand language also helps people to retain information better as well. You see, when you overcomplicate things, people get lost and because of that, they can't grasp what you're trying to say to them. Their mind draws a blank, or they get overwhelmed and just put your book down and never return to it again simply because it is too complicated to read. Have you ever tried to read one of the reports that your doctor writes concerning your condition? Can you understand it? More than likely not and to you, it was written for rocket scientists. However, the doctor understands it simply because he or she has gone to college to learn how to read those types of reports and they understand what they're saying. However, if those reports were written in language that we all could understand then possibly maybe, you could get a much better grasp on your own health care. However, unfortunately those reports aren't written for average people to read. You would probably get pretty board trying to read a medical journal, or medical textbook because of the over complicated language that is in them. They were written for a certain group of individuals who possess certain skills and knowledge that simply the average Joe or Jane doesn't have. So naturally those books would be like reading greek.

Furthermore, if you write such complex material, you will put the individual's brain on overload and that's not good at all. Now I am not saying that you shouldn't write complex material because there's actually a place for that and that is for those who are able to understand it and grasp what it means. However, for the average individual, writing in a more simplified manner is really best. You can convey your message much better that way. That is what I have learned over the years when I write. Now of course, I don't think that I have ever written any real complex material to speak of. For the most part, I have written in a more simple manner by which anyone can understand and benefit from. I don't at all need to be complicated in my writing. After all, that would be totally detramental to the purpose as to why I am writing the particular piece of content. I don't need to be a show-off and try to use complicated Lattan words or terminology to impress people with what I know because I can do it in a more understandable fassion without all the jargan.

Writers and publishers like myself who have been doing this for many years know how to please an audience by writing in the way that they know their readers can understand and grasp. Therefore, I see absolutely no reason to deviate from that norm. I write in simple easy to understand language because I know that it is what my readers have come to expect from me, plus I know that by writing in a more simpler fassion will guarantee that the readers will definitely comprehend and grasp what I am trying to tell them. Usually I am pretty thorough when it comes to explaining things, or if I have to go into great detail on how to do something. I will do my best to explain in as much detail as I possibly can so that the reader can either perform the particular task at hand, or understand how something works and so on.

Now on the off chance that I have to use more complicated language, if I am able to copy and paste it into what I am writing then I'll do it. However, as a rule, I don't usually write anything that requires over complicating things. However, if someone can explain whatever it is better thanI can then why not? Why not just copy and paste it into your book? If you do decide to go this route be sure to site the source where you got the information so that you're not appearing to plagiarize. I can't stress this enough because so many people do plagiarize content, and unless your siting the resource where you got the piece of content from; then you would be plagiarizing simply because you didn't site the resource where you had received the piece of content. As a rule, I always site all my resources if I have to add any that I didn't write myself because that's the right thing to do. You should really seriously think about siting all your resources if you have to use external sources for your content because it will make you appear transparent and professional as a writer and publisher. Sure people do make mistakes and miss things once in a while, but if you can; try not to skip this very important step because it could keep you from getting sued. Believe me, the last thing that you want is to end up in court over some text that you didn't site in your book.

Yeah, being a writer and publisher is a very lucrative business and it is quite rewarding but if you don't follow the rules and dot your Is' and cross your ts, you could really end up in a mess, and I don't think that you want that now do you? Sure creating stellar content is loads of fun but you need to insure that what you write especially if it is riting that discusses something serious like learning how to do something is well-written and that the facts are current and easy to understand. After all, the last thing that you want is to mislead your readers in the wrong direction, or tell them something that isn't accurate or truthful. That would be a huge disaster!

Now of course if you're writing stories , novels, plays or anything like that, then you have a lot more leeway here and a lot more freedom to express yourself in whatever maner you so choose. It is just that with factual information, you must display a more serious tone in your work. For example, school textbooks are meant to be funny, but they can be engaging. They can take the reader to places back in time, and if written well, a good history book can actually invoke that internal movie theatre inside your head. However, this is a pretty rare occurance since most history books are written in such a way that really doesn't engage the imagination, but only states the facts. Still though, your goal is to try and engage the reader and try to get them to use their mind in whatever way you want them to use it in to get them to grasp the information as best they can.

Writing can be like a time machine in that it can transport people into the past or into the future, or it can really get them to think and grow their brains and improve upon their knowledge of the world around them through the experiences of others. This is perhaps why books are so valued these days even though we live in a digital world. I myself have always written digitally, and I love it because it is so much faster, and I can relay what I have written to the world in just a few seconds or so through the power of the Internet. I could write an article for example and then immediately after writing it, send it out to the world in a flash and not have to use a single sheet of paper to do it. It was all done in bits and bytes. Totally amazing! Sure I can actually spend all day at the computer writing but that's me, and I don't mind doing it, but you might not be one of those people who can do that especially if you work at a job where you're on the computer all day long and the last thing that you want to see when you get home is the computer. There are a lot of individuals like that. So what I suggest is that if you want to write, then write at a time when you feel like writing. Don't force yourself to do it because then it will feel more like a chore. Do it when you really want to do it. Do it when you have the least distractions around such as the TV, radio, or even children and pets. Writing in a secluded environment may be the thing that you need whereas others might not mind writing in noisy environments. Just make sure that whereever you write that the place where you're writing from is safe, clean and free from any external distractions.

More often than not I like to write with some music playing in the background , and no I am not talking about classical music either because I am sure that's what you were thinking huh? Would you laugh if I told you that sometimes I have electronic dance music, country, or any other form of music playing in the background while I write? Heck even sometimes, I have the television on YouTube playing something in the background also. So no, I am not like a lot of people who have to have classical music playing in the background while I am writing. Now you might not be one of those who have to have any sound playing in the background and that's perfectly fine. There's no rule saying that you have to have anything playing while you write. That is totally up to you.

Well I guess I will close for now, but remember, what you write is worth the reading so don't feel like it isn't. You have a story to tell, or something of value to share with the world so why not share it!

Thanks for reading.
